- Thai Massage I for the Spa and Table
-
Often referred to as the "Lazy Man's Yoga," Traditional Thai Massage is
traditionally done on a mat, with the clothes on and no oils. For this
class however, we have created a very special protocol to be performed
on the table - spa-style. With all of the rhythm and grace of
the traditional old world style - this treatment will also be performed
clothed - and can be adapted for anywhere between a ½ hour and a 1-1/2
hour treatment. It was designed specifically with the therapist in
mind as well, since our health and body awareness as professionals should
also be a prime factor. This massage should prove to be a winner for
the spas and when done properly should feel almost as good to give it -
as it is to receive it! details

Every ancient culture has their form of Foot Reflexology for treatment
and relaxation. 2,000-year- old Traditional Thai Foot Reflexology is an
exceptional example. Today, as in ancient times, it is performed in the
temples, in the spas, in the markets and in the hospitals ~ on a mat on
the floor, on a table or in a reclining chair. Did you ever wonder why
it feels so good when somebody rubs our feet? Our two feet are a
holographic-type image reflecting our whole body. So when we balance and
treat the feet ~ we balance and treat the whole body. details
